2009 MCC Conference on IT Promotion was convened in Chongqing from March 30 to March 31, 2009, The event was sponsored by CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI). The topics of the meeting were focused on the current situation, the planning and target, the tasks and requirements, as well as the experiences and practices of IT promotion work. At this conference, the leaders also encouraged all the heads and IT technicians of MCC Group and MCC Limited to enhance the IT management, make a perfect performance in IT promotion work and service, and fully facilitate the healthy and fast development of the information technology.

Wang Weimin, President of MCC Group & Party Secretary of MCC Limited, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. Upon invitation, Shi Zhiping, Vice Director-General of Office of Steering Group for Information Technology Advancement under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) & Director-General of SASAC Information Center, was present at the event and made an instructive remark. Wang Yongguang, Standing CPC member of MCC Group & Vice President of MCC Limited, made a keynote speech and a summary report on IT promotion work. Xiao Xuewen, Chairman & Party Secretary of CISDI addressed the conference on IT promotion work.

Wang Weimin raised two requests on MCC’s IT promotion work: (i) viewing on the strategic height of the scientific development, and enhancing awareness on the importance and urgency of IT business development; and (ii) putting into practice the general IT business planning of 2008-2010 formulated by MCC Group, and quickly improving the operational performance of MCC Group and MCC Limited.

Attendees held group discussions on the speeches and reports made by the senior leaders of MCC. In addition, they also exchanged views on IT work and came up with valuable recommendations and proposals.

During the meeting, Liao Xiangrong,Deputy General Manager of CISDI made a report on ERP implementation program undertaken by CISDI. The attendees also paid visits in groups to the Headquarters, the R&D Center and the site of ERP system of CISDI. (by MCC)
