For this expo, CISDI concentrated on the development of cold rolling technologies and localization. In CISDI’s booth, the 1450mm cold rolling & galvanizing project was exhibited through pictures, video and demonstration of VPN system. The project was undertaken by CISDI on EPC basis, which was the first cold strip mill implemented under the overall technological responsibility of a Chinese engineering and was startup in June, 2009. Besides, the equipment integration technology and propriety individual equipment technology master by CISDI in cold rolling field were also exhibited, which were fully recognized by the visiting official leaders, experts and scientific researchers.

 

In the meeting address, Weng Yuqing, Chairman of the Chinese Society mentioned CISDI and highly praised for its emphasis on R&D and great contribution to Chinese iron and steel industry.
