On June 27, 2011, the 1,300mm slab caster #2 of Jilin Steel (Jianlong Group) supplied by CISDI on EP basis successfully passed the hot test of three heats in sequence.

The project is implemented with technology and products developed by CISDI in-house, including multi-function ladle turret (rotating, lifting, weighing and ladle cover manipulating), hydraulic mould oscillation with high frequency and small stroke, continuous bending & unbending roller arrangement for vertical-curved caster, dynamic secondary cooling control model, water spray cooling and air-mist cooling for secondary cooling zone, slab quality evaluation, cut length optimization model, ladle slag detection, large-size tundish with slag dam, stopper control system, protective casting between ladle, tundish and mould, on-line width-adjustable mould, auto mould level control and breakout prevention.
