Application of CISDI-developed 3-roll Mandrel Pipe Mill (MPM) and New-type Micro-tension Reducing Mill Package Technology

January 8, 2011, CISDI inked the EP contract with Jiangsu Chengde Tube Mill Co., Ltd. for Ф76mm seamless tube mill project.

The tube mill will be built as one 3-roll MPM line with less stands, from cut-lengths billet charging, heating to hot-rolled tube cooling and collection. The tube product specification: OD.: Ф42~76mm, wall thickness: 3~12mm, annual output: 50,000t.

 Innovative short-process-flow/mini tube mill technology is dedicated to the project for producing semi-finished seamless tube by lower cost, energy consumption but higher efficiency. CISDI-developed 3-roll MPM and new-type micro-tension reducing mill will be package supplied to the plant.
