February 28, 2017 marks the official start of #1, #2 Slab Casters Project of Hebei Donghai Special Steel Group contracted by CISDI.

CISDI has been contracted to supply Hebei Donghai Special Steel Group two high-efficiency 2-strand slab casters on EPC basis. Equipped with the core equipment and technologies of CISDI, such as continuously bending and unbending roller design with densely-arranged small-diameter rollers, new type high-efficiency air mist spay system for secondary cooling zone, gap-less segments, butterfly ladle turret, integrated automation controls, etc. the casters are expected to produce 3.2Mtpy low carbon steel slabs, 180mm, 200mm and 210mm thick, 900~130mm wide.
